Sector 31 polyclinic to open next month

GURGAON: The out patient department (OPD) of the Sector 31 polyclinic, which is set to open next month, will not only reduce the vast crowd of patients at the Civil Hospital at Civil Line and the Sector 10 hospital, but also will offer relief to residents who live in the adjoining areas of Sector 31.
The polyclinic will be open 24x7 and will offer special services in labour-related cases, said a health department official.
"Rs 40 lakh have been granted by the Haryana government for the polyclinic. The building is almost ready and once the construction work is finished, we will resume our work. Right now, the building is under HUDA. We will ask HUDA to hand over the building to us within few days," said a senior health department official.
The OPD service will start from next month but the official did not mention how many doctors would be available.
Once the OPD starts, residents of Sector 14, 40, 47, 39, 51 would be able to avail the facilities here.
